Your data belongs to you. Edgeless Media is built on a privacy-first foundation.

What Data We Collect

• Account identity: Your email and display name from Google/Apple sign-in
• App data: The content you create within each app (entries, settings, preferences)
• Anonymous analytics: Crash reports and basic usage metrics to improve app quality (no personal content is included)

What We Never Do

• Sell your personal data to third parties
• Read or analyze your personal content
• Pass your personal content (entries, journals, goals, memories) to ad networks
• Track you across websites or apps outside Edgeless

Advertising

Some Edgeless apps show contextual ads through Google AdMob (free tier only). When ads are shown, AdMob receives standard device-level signals (device ID, general region, app category) to serve relevant ads — your personal content, health data, and app entries are never included in ad requests. Subscribers never see ads. Apps focused on sensitive topics (grief, mental health) do not show ads at all.

Data Isolation

Each app's data is isolated. Your Anti-Bias Trainer entries are completely separate from your Better Sleep logs. Even though you use one account, app data never crosses boundaries.

Data Security

• All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
• Authentication uses industry-standard OAuth 2.0 with PKCE
• Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data
• Server infrastructure runs on isolated, access-controlled environments

Offline Data

Many Edgeless apps work offline. Offline data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. When you reconnect, data syncs securely to our servers.

Exporting Your Data

Most apps offer a data export option in Settings. Export your data in standard formats (JSON, CSV) at any time.

Deleting Your Data

• Per-app: Some apps let you clear app data from Settings
• Full account deletion: Settings > Delete Account removes all data across all apps permanently

Permissions

Edgeless apps request only the permissions they need:
