Ronaldo — TBI Recoverer (Evidence-Seeker)
Background
Ronaldo is 41 years old and manages a construction site. He had a TBI from a fall about six months ago. He is pragmatic and impatient — he wants clear evidence that his brain is healing so he can return to full duty. He downloaded the app on his neurologist's suggestion, was skeptical at first, but is now hooked on his daily score.
He uses Cognitive Stories on iOS, currently on Plus tier after upgrading from Free.
Goals
- Track measurable evidence of cognitive recovery to share with his neurologist
- Maintain his daily exercise habit (he has a 34-day streak and never misses)
- Understand which specific fact types are holding his scores back
How He Uses the App
Ronaldo exercises every evening after dinner. He has completed 34 sessions, always finishing all 4 rounds. His accuracy has climbed from 42% to 71% on Medium difficulty over five weeks.
The streak counter on the Home tab is his most-checked screen — he sometimes opens the app just to see it.
Upgrade Journey
After five weeks of daily use, Ronaldo tapped "Advanced Analytics" on the Progress tab expecting to see a breakdown. He hit the upgrade prompt. His trigger was specific: he wanted a fact-type breakdown showing his numbers weakness to bring to his next neurologist appointment. He subscribed to Plus, accessed the breakdown, confirmed that numbers (his suspected weak area) were dragging his scores, and screenshotted the chart for his doctor.
Tier
Plus (upgraded from Free via the Advanced Analytics paywall).
