How to Browse Community Reminders and Upvote
Jing opens the Community tab, filters by Motivation, upvotes 3 study-related quotes, un-upvotes one that she reconsidered, and saves a productivity reminder to her collection. She also checks the Top sort to find Rafael's "Leadership is listening" reminder at 23 upvotes.
Prerequisites
- An account is required to upvote or submit reminders. Browsing community content is available to all users.
- The Community tab requires an internet connection.
Steps
-
Go to the Community tab (third tab in the bottom navigation).
-
See the feed — community-contributed reminders appear sorted by Trending (default). Each item shows:
- Reminder text
- Contributor display name (or "Anonymous")
- Upvote count
- Category
-
Filter by category — tap a category chip to filter the feed.
-
Change sort order — tap the sort control to switch between:
- Trending — highest upvotes in recent days
- Top — highest all-time upvote count
- Newest — most recently submitted
-
Upvote a reminder — tap the upvote button on any item that resonates. The count increments. One vote per item per account.
-
Un-upvote — tap the upvote button again to remove your vote. The count decrements.
-
Save to your collection — tap "Save to My Reminders" on any community item. It appears in My Reminders with a "Community" source label and immediately joins your notification rotation.
Expected Outcome
- Community feed loads sorted by trending
- Category chips filter the feed
- Upvotes increment and decrement correctly
- Saved community reminders appear in My Reminders with the Community label
Tips
- The Community tab is a discovery channel — some of the best wisdom comes from people who've lived it, not just read about it.
- Rafael's "Leadership is listening" has 23 upvotes and Valentina's "Rest is not a reward for work — it is a requirement for it" has 41 upvotes. These are good starting points when exploring the Top sort.
- If you see inappropriate content, use the flag button to report it. Content with multiple flags is automatically hidden.
