How to Capture a Burst of Bucket List Ideas
Who this is for: Anyone who has several ideas they want to capture quickly before they fade.
Raven adds items in bursts of 3–5 during slow shifts at the coffee shop. She wants to capture four ideas fast, with a tag on each and a target date on one of them.
Steps
- Tap the floating "+" button on the main list screen.
- Enter the first item's title (e.g., "Open a coffee truck") and add a tag (e.g.,
#career). Set priority to High if relevant. Tap Save. - Tap "+" again immediately. The create form reopens fresh.
- Enter the next item with its own tag. Tap Save.
- Repeat for each idea. For an item with a target date ("Surf in Portugal"), add the date by tapping the target date field and using the date picker.
- Return to the main list. All items appear in the All tab. The item with a target date also appears in the Upcoming tab.
Expected Outcome
All items are created and saved, each in under 30 seconds. Items with tags appear in the appropriate filter view. The item with a future target date appears in the Upcoming tab.
Tips
- You don't need to fill in every field for each item — a title is enough to capture the idea. Add details when you're ready to plan.
- Tags are free-form — create whatever makes sense to you. Common tags include
#travel,#career,#family,#creative,#someday. - Creating tags is automatic — type a new tag name in the tags field and it's created on the fly.
