How to Update Your Medications on a Calm Day

Who this is for: Anyone keeping their safety plan current — plan upkeep is a calm-day task, and this guide keeps it that way.

Tomás keeps his own plan current so the people around him always have accurate information. He edits from his phone, with a mild hand tremor that makes small targets a problem — the editor's large targets and plain-language prompts are built for him.

Steps

  1. Open the Plan page and tap edit on the medications section. Editing is a calm-day activity: the editor is a form, not a mid-attack surface.

  2. Fill in the plain-language prompts. The form asks for a name, a dose, and optional notes. Examples are visible in the empty form, so you never face a blank field wondering what goes where.

  3. Edit your entry and save. Large targets make mis-taps unlikely, and nothing is lost if you need a second try.

  4. See the change immediately. The at-a-glance view re-renders with your new text the moment you save — what you wrote is what mid-attack you (or your supporter) will read.

Expected Outcome

Your medications entry is updated and saved server-side. The plan view reflects the change immediately, and the entry is displayed in readable form — never as raw encoded text.

Notes

  • The medications section is one of five. The plan also holds warning signs, what helps, three contacts, and a personal note — all edited the same way.
  • Everything is private to your account. Your plan is stored server-side under your account and visible only to you.
  • Keep it current on purpose. A plan that matches reality — current medications, current contacts — is the one that helps mid-attack.
