Review Your Game History and Stats

Derek, a competitive player with 47 games under his belt, reviews his game history after every session to track his progress and spot patterns. Here's how to use the History tab.

Opening Your History

Tap the History tab (clock icon) in the bottom navigation bar. You'll see:

  • Aggregate stats at the top: total games played, wins, win rate, and your best single-game score.
  • Recent games list below: each entry shows the opponent type (AI difficulty or player names), date, final score, and result (Win/Loss).

Viewing a Game in Detail

Tap any game in the list to open the game detail screen. You'll see:

  1. Final board state — the complete board at the end of the game, with all words visible.
  2. Words played — a list of every word played by each player, with the score for each word.
  3. Turn-by-turn timeline — each turn in chronological order, showing who played what, where, and for how many points.

Scroll through the timeline to trace how the game evolved — when a player seized a high-value bonus square, when the tile bag started running low, and how the score lead shifted.

Reading Your Stats

The aggregate stats at the top of the History tab update after every game:

StatWhat it means
Games playedTotal completed games
Win ratePercentage of games won
Best scoreYour highest single-game point total
Average scoreMean score across all games
Highest-scoring wordYour top word by points, with the game it came from

Stats are saved locally and sync to your account if you're on Plus or Pro tier.

Tips

  • Tap your highest-scoring word to jump directly to the game it came from.
  • Sort the game list by score (tap the sort icon) to find your best and worst performances quickly.
  • Use the History tab after reviewing post-game analysis (Pro) — the analysis screen links back to the game detail view.
