How to Upgrade to Pro
Priya has been on Plus for four months and keeps losing online games. She wants to understand why — and the answer is post-game analysis, a Pro feature. After upgrading, she reviews exactly which plays she missed and why.

Post-game analysis shows a turn-by-turn breakdown of every move: what you played, what you could have played, and the point difference. It calculates your overall scoring efficiency — for example, "scored 215 of 280 possible points (77% efficiency)."
Wordsmith is the Hard AI — it uses the full dictionary, targets bonus squares 90% of the time, and provides a strong competitive challenge.
How to Upgrade
From the Game-Over Screen (Recommended)
- Finish a game and tap Analyze Game on the game-over screen.
- If you're on Plus, you'll see the Pro paywall with a teaser preview of the analysis (blurred stats).
- Tap Upgrade to Pro to see the subscription options.
- Select monthly or annual billing and complete the Play Store subscription flow.
- Your tier updates immediately — the analysis unlocks right away for the game you just finished.
From Settings
- Navigate to Settings → Subscription.
- Tap Upgrade Plan and select Pro.
- Complete the Play Store flow.
You Must Have a Plus Account First
Pro is only available as an upgrade from Plus. If you're on the free anonymous tier, you'll need to upgrade to Plus first (which creates your account via Google Sign-In or magic link), then upgrade to Pro. The two upgrades can happen in the same session.
After Upgrading
- Post-game analysis is available immediately for any future game you complete. To analyze older games, navigate to History, tap the game, and tap "Analyze Game" if the option appears.
- Wordsmith appears as a selectable AI level in game setup under "Hard."
- Your subscription renews automatically. Manage it at Settings → Subscription, which links to the Play Store subscription management page.
