How to Access Pro Features

Who this is for: Pro subscribers who want to use AI-assisted import and deep prompts.

Astrid is a Pro subscriber. She wants to use AI Import to extract memories from her late husband's letters and deep prompts for her memoir writing.

What Pro Includes

  • Everything in Plus (unlimited exports, PDF memory books, advanced timeline analytics, extended prompts, unlimited clubs)
  • AI-assisted import — extract multiple memories from a block of text automatically
  • Deep AI prompts — longer, more reflective prompts generated dynamically based on your archive

Using AI Import

  1. Go to Settings → Import (or use the Import option in the Export tile area).
  2. Paste your source text. This could be a scanned journal page, a letter, a diary entry, or any block of text containing memories.
  3. Tap "Extract Memories." The AI analyzes the text and extracts individual memories with pre-filled titles, approximate dates, locations, and person links where detectable.
  4. Review the extracted memories. Each one appears as a card. Edit the title, date, location, or text as needed.
  5. Approve and import. Tap "Import All" or approve individually. Approved memories are saved to your archive.

Using Deep Prompts

  • From the dashboard, tap "Prompt Me" — if you're on Pro, you may see AI-generated prompts tailored specifically to patterns in your existing archive (e.g., "You've written about your grandmother several times — what's a memory you haven't captured yet?").
  • Browse the full prompt library from the Prompts tile; deep prompts are marked with a Pro badge.

Tips

  • AI Import works best with coherent prose (journals, letters, essays). It may not extract well from bullet lists or fragmented notes.
  • Always review extracted memories before saving — the AI can misread dates or misidentify people. Editing before import takes seconds and ensures accuracy.
  • Upgrading to Pro unlocks all Plus features automatically.
