How to Capture Memories with Quick Entry
Who this is for: Anyone who wants to record several memories in a row without slowing down.
Marcus sits down one evening and realizes he has five career milestones he's never captured. He wants to add them all before the feeling passes.
Steps
- Tap the "Memories" tile on the dashboard, or navigate to the Memories tab in the bottom nav.
- Tap the "+" button (floating action button or top-right).
- Enter a title — a short label for this memory.
- Write your memory text in the main text area.
- Tap "Save & New" to save this memory and immediately open a fresh empty form for the next one. Repeat for each memory.
- On your last memory, tap "Save" (not "Save & New") to save and return to the Memories list.
Expected Outcome
All memories appear in the Memories list immediately. Each is independent — you can edit, link entities, or add dates to them individually later.
Tips
- "Save & New" keeps the title field empty so you start fresh each time. Previous entries are saved immediately — they don't disappear if you leave the app.
- You can add dates, locations, and entity links while creating a memory, or come back and edit later.
- There's no limit to how many memories you can capture.
